Sophie took a marker out of her pocket and drew a shark on her kite. A particularly fierce shark, with six rows of teeth and one enormous, offended eye. Underneath, in careful blue letters, she signed her name.

The breeze turned the kite over, as if it didn’t like the shark, and dropped it onto Sophie’s head again.

“You see?” said Wind. “This won’t help.”

Sophie untangled the tail from her ear.

“I’ll teach it.”

She drew a shark on the other side of her kite as well.
